MEET OUR CEO, KAREN DENTON
Known throughout the business community as a role model and walking miracle, Karen Denton is a true testament of what can be accomplished through hard work and determination. The survivor of four brain aneurysms, she is a strong believer that everyone deserves a second chance. The 2003 health incident caused her to follow and fulfill her dream of entrepreneurship and utilize the accumulation of 20+ years of experience in the retail and fast food industry and lean toward her desire of having all things clean.
Karen is the recipient of the Onyx Woman Leadership Award and has been honored and recognized by the Honorable Jake Wheatley, Jr., PA. State Representative office with a Citation from The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She says, “My one greatest feat in owning and operating a business is that it affords me to do what I love by serving in local communities, being able to employ people in underserved neighborhoods who would not have been given opportunities to get their lives back on track through employment. This is what keeps me focused, dedicated and feeling rewarded.”
Her volunteer service includes teaching the fundamentals of cleaning at the Energy Innovation Center, the Allegheny County Jail with The Hope Foundation and she is an active member of the African American Chambers of Commerce of Western PA. She is a graduate of the Core 4 class 2016 with the WilkinsburgCDC also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Community Power To Prosper Program class 2017 and graduate from the SBA Emerging Leaders class 2019 and has certifications in Covid-19, 30 Hour Osha certification, ISSA certified.
A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Karen has strong family values. She is the mother of an adult daughter and adopted teenage son. She has two grandchildren, one great grandson and has served as the foster mother of six youth.
